Free Tax & Career Services

Goodwill is pleased to announce that we will be hosting free in-person tax preparation services by AARP every Thursday from February 6th to April 10th, from 10 AM to 3 PM by appointment. This service is a great resource for our community, and we welcome your support in spreading the word. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 803-871-0156.

Resources for Clients:

• Unemployment Assistance: We offer guidance and support for clients applying for unemployment benefits, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources.

• Job Placement Support: We maintain a current list of local employers who are hiring and would love to collaborate on connecting job seekers with these opportunities.

• Training Programs: We provide online self-paced courses at no cost for qualified clients, including SNAP recipients, veterans, and veteran spouses, aimed at career advancement or skill enhancement.

• Resume and Interview Assistance: Our Career Navigators are available to help clients refine their resumes and prepare for interviews.

• Business Resources: Our center offers business resources every weekday from 10 AM - 12 PM and 1 PM - 4 PM.
