What is a Chamber of Commerce?
The Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce is an association of more than 700 businesses, professionals, and industries. It is non-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian, and non-political. Though the Chamber often works with large public agencies, it is not a department of any government organization.
Where is the Chamber office located?
The Chamber office is located at 155 Riverside Drive in Orangeburg, SC. We are on the corner of Highway 301 (John C. Calhoun Drive) and Riverside Drive. The office has parking located adjacent to the building for customer convenience.
How do I get information on visiting or moving to Orangeburg?
To acquire information on visiting or moving to Orangeburg, please contact the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce. We assemble and mail visitor and relocation packages by request.
Is the Chamber a government entity?
The Chamber of Commerce is not a department of the city, county or state governments.
Who are Chamber members?
Chamber members are professionals drawn from businesses, industry, education, government, churches, and civic organizations, as well as individuals and retirees. There is a place in the Chamber for anyone who seeks to build a stronger community.

How do I become a member of the Chamber?
Joining the Chamber is easy! Simply call our office at 803-534-6821 or , print it out, and fax the complete application to us at 803-531-9435. We’ll get you more information right away!
Can I pay for my membership with a credit card?
Yes. The Chamber accepts Master Card, Visa and Discover for payment of membership dues, publications, marketing services, and all networking events.
My business is not located in the Orangeburg city limits. Can I join the Chamber?
Certainly! As the Chamber for Orangeburg County, several of our members are not located in Orangeburg.
Can I receive or offer discounts as a Chamber member?
The Chamber offers its members discounts on publications, marketing services, and for its networking events.
How can I get more involved at the Chamber?
Members can choose their preferred level of involvement. Attending events, participating on a committee, and sponsoring programs are all ways to become more involved. Contact us, and explain what areas and in what ways you’d like to become more involved.
If I am not able to attend an event, can I send my employees?
Everyone in your organization is welcome to attend, either in your place or with you. In fact, many of our seminars and workshops are aimed at employees, so watch for mailings announcing programs that might be of interest.
How do I change my Membership listing information?
You may request changes to your membership listing by calling the Chamber, by calling 803-534-6821 and asking for Whitney Thomas, or through our contact us form.
I would like to use the Chamber's logo in ads, on the web, and in other promotional items. Is this allowed?
Yes. Members may use a special logo that indicates they are a member of the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce. To receive a digital image of the Chamber logo contact Amy Holt at 803-534-6821.
