Melinda serves as President for the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce. She reports directly to the Board of Directors and is the voice of the Chamber Board and its members. She provides oversight for the operational functions and is the lead in strategic planning for the Chamber’s initiatives and members. She is an integral part of the positive promotion of the Chamber and Orangeburg County. She supervises and guides the Chamber in its role as the lead agency for tourism in the City as well as Orangeburg County. As a seasoned veteran for forty plus years of Orangeburg County, Melinda is invested in the betterment of the community and its people. She has insight in several facets as she has served on the Chamber’s Board and owned a small business, Mimi’s boutique. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration. With her administrative background as Principal in local Middle Schools, she is dedicated to raising the bar at the Chamber level in the education of our workforce. As the mother of three teenage children, Taylor, Reagan, and Austin; she is passionate about the growth of the County. Melinda, with the help of her husband Kevin Jackson, has initiated multiple events in Orangeburg County. She is grateful to now be able to synchronize those talents in this great leadership role!

Amy serves as the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce Director of Operations. She is in charge of our Business After Hours, Small Business Awards, Scholarship program, ribbon cuttings, Leadership Orangeburg County, Jr. Leadership of Orangeburg County and keeping our website and Facebook up to date. She also helps with assisting our Director of Programs with the implementation of our fundraisers and networking opportunities at the Chamber.
Amy has been an Orangeburg native since birth. She lives in Bowman with her husband Paul and their son Holland and daughter Joycelynn. When not at work or helping Paul with his business, she enjoys shopping, going to the lake and off shore fishing, spending time with family and getting together with friends. Amy is excited to be at the Chamber and putting in her part.

Cary Hopkins serves as the Director of Programs for the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce. She is in charge or putting together events such as our Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon, Annual Banquet, Business EXPO, Customer Service Certification, Leadership Orangeburg, Legislative Breakfast and Festival of Roses just to name a few.
Cary was born and raised in Orangeburg County. She attended Edisto High School and received her associate’s degree in Administrative Office in 2014 from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College. When not at the Chamber, Cary enjoys traveling, shopping and spending quality time with her family and friends. Cary is excited about and looking forward to new opportunities of serving the community through the Chamber.

Whitney Thomas serves as Director of Public Relations for the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce. Her main responsibilities include overseeing communications from the Chamber, marketing & advertising, as well as maintaining positive relations.

Sandy Price moved to Orangeburg from Lexington, SC in 1989. She works at the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce as Director of Membership. Passionate about family and community, Sandy loves promoting positive community and seeing economic growth in our county. In her free time, she enjoys boating at the lake with family and friends.
